'Blade Runner'

Gorgeous! Blade Runner, a masterpiece of cinematography from Ridley Scott. This still is taken from the files supplied with LightWave4/5 and shows Deckard (in the transporter) en route to the Tyrell HQ. OK, not mine, but I had to include it for its sheer evocation. The original Scene file is set to Widescreen to capture the grandeur of the movie. Here, I've rendered it in standard format to get more of the data in at top and bottom. This fly-by animation contains no less than 57 light sources, about half of which are visible here.

And if you haven't yet seen the 1982 movie, get the video and you'll attend a masterclass in scene lighting! Starring Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young, Edward James Olmos and Daryl Hannah in suspenders! What more could you possibly want.....?
