'Bubbles'
Now before you ask, I don't have any hangups about waterlilies! It's just that after spending weeks constructing models of these aquatic plants, closed buds, opening buds, full flowers, leaf pads, stalks, etc, etc, you've got to make the most of 'em, right? One of my anims (which I appear to have lost!) shows lily flowers opening from the buds. Very nice. Another (also mislaid) has white lilies turning red following a rather gory argument between a small water snake and a pike. Maybe I'll re-render them sometime.
Anyhow, 'Bubbles' is a still from the animation you'll find on the Downloads page. More details can be found there. A small difference here is the use of a 'blue sky' image as a Reflection Map for the surface of the water. The animation works better without it.
