NewTek introduced this 'Gigeresque' version of the LightWave 'thingy' with version 6. No, I don't know what it is either, so I hope somebody out there will tell me! A robotic worm maybe. Whatever it is, it's a nice example of cyber-engineering!
Just imagine what H R Giger could do with LightWave! If you've never seen his art, do so. You'll find it distubing yet compelling stuff!
