'Black Lotus'
One of a series of images I created for an enthusiast's website, which you can find here. The superb car mesh was provided by NiNjA_A, who converted it from 3DStudio Max to LightWave format (I had to modify it slightly). The bits which are entirely of my own construction are the onboard camera, the driver's helmet and the paintwork/WaveGuide decals. Though you can't see them all in this shot, the car is plastered with various logos (also provided by NiNjA_A). Getting them all in exactly the right place involved me in a steep learning curve. It was a process not well described in NewTek's literature, so I invented my own method. You can read all about it in Tutorial 3, where you'll also find more renders of the machine.
